Ayahuasca – Honoring Tradition

At Con Smania CR, our ayahuasca ceremonies are held in deep reverence to the Yagé tradition of the Putumayo region of Colombia. Guided by healers in the Ingano lineage of Taita Juanito, founder of Ambiwasi, these ceremonies honor the ancient wisdom, humility, and spiritual integrity that define this sacred plant medicine path. This is not a trend—it is a tradition, carried with generations of prayer, discipline, and healing intention.

Our ceremonial space is held with care, clarity, and consciousness. The medicine is brewed and served according to the traditional ways of this lineage, with dieta, icaros, and energetic protection woven into every step. For those who have journeyed before, you will feel the depth of this work. And for those newly called, you will be welcomed into a container of safety, purification, and transformation—where your healing is guided not only by the medicine but by the ancestral wisdom behind it.

With all retreats, we make a donation to Magic Fund, the work of Taita Juanito and team to conserve native land, culture and wisdom.

Learn more about the Sacred Reclamation Sessions
Breathwork: Repatterning from the inside out.

The breath is one of the most powerful portals we have to shift our state—especially when words fall short. In this retreat, breathwork becomes a tool not for pushing through, but for softening into what’s ready to be released. Guided by experienced facilitators, you’ll explore conscious breathing techniques that help regulate the nervous system, release stored trauma, and bring clarity and spaciousness to the body. Sessions are held with deep respect for your pace, your story, and your healing.

Meditation: Reclaiming peace from within.

In trauma’s aftermath, stillness can feel unfamiliar—or even unsafe. These guided meditations are designed to gently reintroduce you to the sanctuary of your own inner world. Through breath, focus, and gentle awareness, you’ll begin to rebuild a sense of safety in the body, calm an overactive nervous system, and develop compassionate presence. These practices are simple, grounding, and deeply restorative—no prior experience required, just a willingness to come home to yourself.

Movement: Coming back into your body.

Trauma can disconnect us from our bodies—leaving us numb, guarded, or chronically tense. Through gentle, intuitive movement practices, we support you in safely reclaiming physical presence. These sessions may include somatic experiencing, trauma-informed yoga, freeform expression, and grounding rituals. There’s no choreography here—just a return to the wisdom your body has been holding all along. Move as you are, in a space where everything you bring is welcome.

Sacred Plant Medicine: Healing in communion with the unseen.

At the heart of this retreat is the sacred medicine of yagé (ayahuasca), served in the lineage of Taita Juanito from the Putumayo region of Colombia. This isn’t a psychedelic experience for curiosity’s sake—it’s a ceremony rooted in reverence, guided by wisdom, and held in utmost integrity. For those walking through the long shadow of trauma, this work offers a powerful path to remember what was never truly lost: wholeness, clarity, connection.

You’ll be supported before, during, and after each ceremony by a skilled, compassionate team. Integration begins before you arrive and continues long after the medicine fades. This is not about forcing breakthroughs. It’s about honoring the soul’s pace, reclaiming forgotten parts of yourself, and allowing healing to unfold in sacred timing.

Sound Healing & Reiki

An intimate experience using quartz crystal sound healing bowls, you will be immersed in the frequencies of healing sound vibrations. Receive group and personal reiki to balance the body’s energetics during the sound experience.

Integration Circles

How we process these consciousness-expanding experiences and prepare to re-enter our everyday life is an important part of the ceremony experience. Guided by Jill’s Daily Questions reflective journaling and sharing circles, you will begin to come home to your own knowing.

What YOU Will Walk Away With…

For those who carry the weight of trauma, sacred ceremony offers something rare: a chance to be with all that’s been held—and begin to release what no longer needs to be carried. Whether through yagé, breathwork, meditation, or movement, these experiences invite us into altered states of consciousness that restore rather than escape. States where the soul speaks, where old patterns soften, and where deep healing becomes not just possible, but inevitable.

These aren’t moments of magic that vanish when you leave. They’re thresholds. And with skilled support, they become gateways to long-term change.

At Sacred Reclamation, you’ll be held before, during, and after ceremony with gentleness, wisdom, and care. The integrative tools you receive will be yours to return to again and again—as you rebuild your life, not from who you were, but from who you’re becoming.

Meet Your Retreat Team

Jill

Jill is the Creator of Magic at Con Smania CR and steward of the project and property. A passion for supporting heart-centered entrepreneurs, you will often hear her say to “focus on your genius, let others focus on theirs” as a way for people to recognize how they can release control and work at the innersection of what lights them up and what they excel at. Retreats are her own place of deep contentment.

After many years of working with plant and being allies, Jill is most fascinated with the science of neuroplasticity and the spiritual expansiveness of journeying, breath, and meditation that can allow us to move through our own and generational trauma. Jill spends significant time supporting and learning from the lineage of Taita Juanito as well as with other trusted plant-medicine providers. A long-time Pilates and fitness instructor turned business strategist, Jill’s background and blend of logic and loving awareness have led to this moment and this place in extraordinary ways.

Jill is a 6/2 Generator with Sacral Authority, placing her Human Design as the Exemplary Human, in other words, someone meant to oversee a retreat center and transformational experiences!

Nick Jones

Expansion is something deeply rooted in Nick’s career. He was an early employee at Uber, and then an Expansion Expert at Lime where he opened up 8 markets in 3 countries in 16 months. Nick has always walked between worlds, something that allowed him to excel in confluence point positions like expansion. Equally able to talk to engineers, marketers, ops people, and anyone in between, Nick’s motto has always been “I will meet you where you are, and show you where I am.” He was drawn to become a founding Collective Member of Con Smania as he instantly understood Jill’s vision and knew she was capable of creating a place that facilitates radical transformations.

Now Nick focuses his time on startup and business consulting and advising, as well as coaching and leading retreats for those in entrepreneurship and business who are looking for someone who can meet them where they’re at on their journey. He brings his natural skepticism and empathy to every endeavor and client and only seeks to be of service to those walking their path.

Q: How will this retreat benefit me?
This retreat is designed to meet you where you are—especially if you’ve been carrying the invisible weight of trauma, burnout, or spiritual disconnection. Sacred Reclamation offers a safe, structured, and profoundly nurturing space to begin the work of healing from within. You’ll reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, release what’s no longer serving you, and gently reclaim the parts of yourself that have been in hiding.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, untethered, or simply ready for something deeper, this experience will help you come home to yourself in a way that feels grounded, lasting, and sacred.

Q: How can I be sure this retreat is the right fit for me?

If you’ve been moving through grief, trauma, life transitions, or the quiet ache of disconnection—this retreat was made with you in mind. Sacred Reclamation is for those who are ready to gently face what’s been buried, reweave a relationship with their body, and reconnect to the sacredness of life itself.

You don’t need to be “healed” to begin. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to feel the pull toward something deeper. We believe these spaces call to us when our soul is ready—and if you’re reading this, that time may be now.

Q: Will I have access to personal support during the retreat?

Absolutely, each participant receives personalized attention through one-on-one sessions, tailored to your unique needs, as well as anytime something comes up.

Q: What is the daily schedule like?

Each day is intentionally designed to support deep healing while honoring your need for spaciousness, rest, and integration. You can expect a gentle rhythm that includes guided meditation, somatic movement, integration circles, nourishing meals, and sacred ceremonies—all paced to meet your energy and emotional state.

There’s no pressure to perform or participate in everything. You’ll have ample time for personal reflection, ocean swims, journaling, and simply being. Every element of the schedule is optional, trauma-informed, and rooted in your sovereignty. Healing doesn’t happen on a clock—it happens in safe, supported presence, and that’s what we offer.

Q: What if I have dietary restrictions or special needs?

The retreat center offers a variety of accommodations and amenities tailored to meet diverse needs, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive experience for all participants. We are fully gluten-free, offer plant-based milks (as well as dairy) and serve fish a few times during the week.

Q: What if I'm unsure about plant medicine ceremonies?

The retreat encourages healthy skepticism and provides a safe space for exploration. Participation in ceremonies is always optional, and ample preparation and integration support are provided. While this may be an unconventional activity for some, you’ll be providing a safe and supported container for this.

Q: Who should not participate in an ayahuasca/ yage ceremony?
Not everyone can safely participate in an ayahuasca ceremony, and it’s important to be honest about that from the start. You might not be eligible if you have certain health conditions like heart problems, high blood pressure, or serious mental health issues such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or severe depression. Ayahuasca can also be dangerous if you are taking medications like antidepressants (especially SSRIs), antipsychotics, or anything that affects the brain’s chemistry. These combinations can cause very serious, even life-threatening reactions. It’s not about judging anyone — it’s about making sure that everyone who drinks ayahuasca is physically, mentally, and emotionally ready for such a powerful experience. Safety always comes first.
Q: How do I prepare for the plant medicine ceremonies?

Detailed preparation guidelines will be provided, including pre-retreat calls with the facilitators to discuss intentions and expectations. You’ll be well-supported throughout the process.

Q: Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?

You may choose to have a massages, IV infusions or other types of healing sessions. You can choose these in advance or on-site and costs will always be disclosed in advance.

Q: What if I need to cancel attendance?

We believe that your retreat starts with your commitment. We do highly suggest that you purchase travel insurance as soon as you register.
