Once you experience the property, we are confident you will fall in love and consider us for your future retreat venue!
You will gather inspiration from the raw, unfiltered nature of the place; chirping winged ones; boasting howler monkeys; roaming horses and dogs; the unique structures of the property; and the like-minded souls who have joined in the adventure to Costa Rica.
From the pre-retreat call to breakfast on the last day, your time at Con Smania CR will be spent relaxing, contemplating your craft, learning new ways to grow and excel. You will challenge limiting beliefs and boundaries co-creating with other retreat leaders, whether seasoned or brand new. We all have something to share and learn from each other.
Your guides for the week are the on-site team at Con Smania CR, Jill, Lore and more, and it is their honor to work with retreat leaders to support before, during, and after transformational retreats.
You will feel the lightness that comes from being fully supported to do your best work and getting to release the overwhelm of hosting a retreat… as you take time to relax into your mind and creative juices.

The Venue…
Transform into your best self in one of Earth’s most restorative destinations, located in one of the world’s Blue Zones… the Nicoya Peninsula in beautiful and vibrant Costa Rica. Con Smania is the ideal place to activate your greatest potential and honor your deepest purpose.
Each casita on our sacred ground positively invites personal transformation while strolling winding paths and lush native landscaping. Guanacaste trees shade the property and provide home to a variety of wildlife, including the howlers, parrots, iguanas and so much more.
Our private landing strip provides a unique opportunity for walking meditation and breathing space. This safe and sacred space is also just a 10 minute stroll to the Pacific Ocean.
From hidden meditation spots to the grand and magnificent gathering casita, there is so much to explore on the property. Then take some side trips into the nearby towns of Nosara and Samara for even more fun. Kayak to an off-shore reserve, ride a horse along the beach, enjoy a private massage or just lounge at our unique and fun pool for the rest and rejuvenation you deserve.

The Food and Meals…
Inspired by the ingredients that make this one of the world’s five Blue Zones, our Costa Rican chef designs vegetarian focused meals that burst with flavor and texture. Get a chance to taste your way through the possibilities on offer. We believe in honoring the land through connecting closer to source in all ways. Buffet style, we encourage you to take what you need knowing you can always return for more.
Breakfasts in our front restaurant and dinners may be served in the main building, our tiki bar and poolside lounge, or up at the restaurant. Let us surprise you!
Anytime you need more nourishment, blend yourself a smoothie from local fruits and greens and nutritious add-ins. Grab a snack – never know what we may conjure up.

Flights:
Arrive into the Liberia Daniel Oduber Airport (LIR) on Saturday August 12th before 3pm if possible so we can pick you up and get you settled in before dinner.
Departure any time on August 19th or arrange an extension. We take care of arranging this for you, round trip, don’t worry.
If you want to come earlier or stay later for some exploring – please let us know, we can likely accommodate you and would be delighted for a bit more time to get to know one another.
More About Your Guide
As the Creator of Magic at Con Smania CR, Jill is the on-site manager and founding visionary for this sacred project. Accompanied by the #dogsofconsmania everywhere she walks, she is tuned in to the property, the needs of retreat leaders and their attendees, and divinely led in all ways.
A three-year healing journey, guided by trust and intuition, brought Jill back to Costa Rica in January of 2022. This was an opportunity to begin facilitator training in breathwork, at a rustic retreat venue right on the ocean, and the chance to get answers to her internal inquiry:
“How do I combine my very techy and robotic brain
with my deep spiritual self in my work?”
A request to accompany a friend who was looking for a property brought her to the Hotel Flying Crocodile and the answer was instantly available. Clearly seeing the potential for creating a safe and sacred space for client visits, she realized opening a retreat center based on the same principles that had always guided her work – support for heart-centered entrepreneurs on a mission – was the next step.
Jill’s clients find that tapping into “Jillogistics” in a heart-centered way leads them to new insights, a deeper connection to self, and the confidence to proceed. Use this intuition to help you plan your own offerings!
