You’ll join us at a property that has been experiencing it’s own transformation… from hotel to retreat center:
Con Smania CR. Each structure is unique and positively invites exploration through the winding paths and gorgeous landscaping.
Bordered by our own landing strip – often visited by a herd of free-ranging horses – and very few neighbors, this safe and sacred space is also just a 10 minute stroll to the Pacific Ocean.
Guanacaste trees shade the property and provide home to a variety of wildlife, including the howlers, parrots, iguanas and so much more.
You can never be bored here… and you can also deeply rest and nest.
From hidden meditation spots to the grand and magnificent main building we call Haven, there is so much to explore on the property. And then take some side trips into the nearby towns of Nosara and Samara for even more fun. Kayak to an off-shore reserve, ride a horse along the beach, or just lounge at our unique and fun pool for the rest you deserve.
Inspired by the ingredients that make this one of the world’s five Blue Zones, our Costa Rican cooks create vegetarian-focused meals that burst with flavor and texture. Gluten-free always, dairy free mostly, and all allergies taken into consideration.
You’ll be experiencing our detox protocol and raw food choices with some special meals to welcome you and close the week together. We believe in honoring the land through connecting closer to source in all ways. Buffet style, we encourage you to take what you need knowing you can always return for more.
Breakfasts in our front restaurant and dinners may be served in the main building, our poolside lounge, or up at the restaurant. Let us surprise you!
Anytime you need more nourishment, blend yourself a smoothie from local fruits and greens and nutritious add-ins.
Join us at the Samara Feria (farmer’s market) on Saturday and shop like a local. From artisans to local fare, it is a sight to behold.

What’s Not-Included:
You have the option to add-on massages from our extraordinary massage therapist ($130-170), complete acupuncture and reiki healing sessions ($220) from our licensed healer, private sessions with Dr Crystal Dawn for an additional fee.
Flights:
Arrive into the Guanacaste Liberia Daniel Oduber Airport (LIR) on Oct 23th before 2pm if possible so we can pick you up and get you settled in before dinner. Departure any time on October 30, 2024. We take care of arranging transportation to Con Smania CR for you, round trip, don’t worry.
Your Retreat Leaders
Dr Crystal Dawn and Jill Sessa met at Con Smania CR in 2023 and a deep connection was made, with commonalities of plant medicine experiences, life paths, and a deep respect for the role food plays in our well-being. When Crystal Dawn came to host a retreat, the idea was sparked for Jill to join her in another offering as we chatted about gut biome (yup, this is their idea of fun chat topics… it might soon become yours, too!)
Partnering on a retreat offering is their way of honoring each other’s wisdom and passion, weaving together an experience before, during, and after the retreat in the highest good of our attendees. They are so looking forward to supporting you on your own journey.

Dr Crystal Dawn
As a Medicine Woman, Dr Crystal Dawn’s journey is an intricate tapestry woven with threads of Earth-Based Spirituality, Sacred Ceremonial Practice, and a commitment to Holistic Healing.
Rooted in the ancient wisdom of the earth, she brings a unique perspective to the realm of functional medicine and family medicine. Her path is one of integration, seamlessly blending the sacred with the scientific. Board-certified in family medicine, her expertise extends beyond conventional approaches, guided by a functional medicine philosophy that delves into the root causes of health issues.
Crystal Dawn’s commitment to personalized well-being is amplified by the transformative power of Clarity Breathwork, nutrigenomics, wellness retreats, lifestyle medicine counseling, and ketamine-assisted therapy.
It is within this sacred blend of practices that she guides individuals toward a holistic and enduring state of wellness, honoring the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, and the healing energies of the earth.
Jill is the Creator of Magic at Con Smania CR and steward of the project and property. A passion for supporting heart-centered entrepreneurs, you will often hear her say to “focus on your genius, let others focus on theirs” as a way for people to recognize how they can release control and work at the innersection of what lights them up and what they excel at. Retreats are her own place of deep contentment.
After many years of working with plant and being allies, Jill is most fascinated with the science of neuroplasticity and the spiritual expansiveness of journeying, breath, and meditation that can allow us to move through our own and generational trauma. A long time Pilates and fitness instructor turned business strategist, Jill’s background and blend of logic and loving awareness have led to this moment and this place in extraordinary ways.
Having crafted the menu at Con Smania CR from a place of insight of the impact of food on bodies, communities, and the planet, she is honored to step into this work with Dr Crystal Dawn in this retreat. Showing how we can nourish ourselves in beautiful ways is one of her passion projects.
With two pre-retreat calls and two post-retreat integration calls, this experience is way more than 8 days and 7 nights. The on-going community support and integration of all that you will learn will extend into your life for a long time.
Focused time on-site for detoxification and nourishment, journeying and being still…. you are investing in your growth in ways you cannot even yet imagine!
With access to these two high level facilitators at a sacred and safe space in Costa Rica, the pay in full registration fee for the week plus the additional support is $3800.

Due to the special nature of this gathering, refunds are only allowed for 3 days after registration. Should you need to cancel after this time, you can transfer your registration to another attendee or apply 50% of the amount paid to a future event. We will maintain a waiting list and can assist with a transfer but this is not guaranteed.
